Imperfect Practice for an Imperfect World - An Interactive Workshop

No one is perfect, so why does your practice have to be? Join Nicole Lewis and Kate Morran as they lead you back to your mat with a practice that will support you in being more gentle with yourself. The practice will begin with guided meditation which will lead into a mellow flow to introduce movement into the body and create a soft shift of energy. We will then move back down to the floor and gently drift into a yummy restorative practice. No judgment. No rules. Just intention and presence, all you need to do is simply show up. Stay after class for tea and conversation about simple ways to integrate these tools into your routine. This practice is created for yogis of all levels and abilities. (2 hours- 90 minutes of led practice/ 30 minutes of talk back)

Happy Baby Yoga (2mo - Pre-Crawling)

Finding time for yoga can be tough as a parent. So why not practice WITH your little one? Babies are natural born yogis and can benefit from yoga just as much as us! Incorporating gentle stretches for your mini into your practice can improve digestion, sleep habits and emotional well-being. Plus, it's a known fact that happy babies make happy mamas!

Join Julie Beliveau for this special class designed for new moms (or dads!) to get a full mind-body workout while developing your connection with baby. This series is designed for babies ages 2 months through pre-crawling. Music and gentle essential oils will be incorporated into class.

Julie has been teaching yoga for 10 years and has two little yogis of her own (ages 3 and 1.5). She has a BA in Child & Family Development (Birth - 5 years old), 9 years of experience teaching preschool gymnastics and several years of experience working with children with special needs.

We look forward to seeing all the yoga babies on the mat this fall - space is limited so register early!

Yoga and preschoolers go together like PB and J! Many yoga poses are named after animals, making it fun for kids to bend their body into different shapes while engaging in pretend play. This 30 minute class is designed to build a mind-body connection for kids through movement, music, breath work, and teamwork.

Sweat for a Cause! with the FHIIT Twins

Join the FHIIT Twins for an awesome workout to remember as we support a great cause that affects many of our lives. The energy and joy that Amber and Ashley bring is infectious and you will be invigorated, inspired, and feel great as you sweat out with their signature high intensity interval training. Our own Kerry Cwikla will have a 15 minute yoga warm up and cool down to a 30 minute HIIT focused routine that will burn those calories and rev your metabolism.

For a great cause, all proceeds go to support breast cancer research through the American Cancer Society. The class is $10 to register and additional tips / donations accepted to benefit progress to eliminate breast cancer.

Come support our community with yoga at the ballpark.  Bring friends and family together for an up-beat all-levels yoga class out on centerfield for a great cause and another great baseball game!

Instructors from Hartford Sweat and From the Heart Yoga have put together an amazing yoga flow to stretch, invigorate, then relax you and leave you wanting more at the end.  

Net proceeds are donated to Connecticut Children’s right here in Hartford to continue and support their phenomenal service the youth in our community. ($11 game ticket, $4 donation)

At 10:30, she will lead us through a new practice of Hot Hatha Fusion.  A heated 75 minute class that fuses together the powerful practice of vinyasa with the healing practice of Bikram.
