Yoga at the Ball Park, Supporting Connecticut Children's

Come support our community with yoga at the ballpark.  Bring friends and family together for an up-beat all-levels yoga class out on centerfield for a great cause and another great baseball game!

Instructors from Hartford Sweat and From the Heart Yoga have put together an amazing yoga flow to stretch, invigorate, then relax you and leave you wanting more at the end.  

Net proceeds are donated to Connecticut Children’s right here in Hartford to continue and support their phenomenal service the youth in our community. ($11 game ticket, $4 donation)

Escape to a beautiful evening adventure on the Black Hall River to the Connecticut coastline on a paddleboard, where you will anchor in a serene and pristine area and flow through a 60 minute all-levels yoga class on your paddleboard as the sun sits low on the horizon, then continue on an ever popular sunset tour through the estuary for a breathtaking view of the horizon as sky and clouds turn golden. The dates are arranged to match solar and lunar cycles for the sunset and tide.

At 8:00, Meredith will guest teach the Sunday morning 90-minute Bikram class. Join class with Meredith and get a real treat from a Master Bikram instructor. Normal studio pricing for monthly members / others $15 drop-in.

At 10:30, she will lead us through a new practice of Hot Hatha Fusion.  A heated 75 minute class that fuses together the powerful practice of vinyasa with the healing practice of Bikram. The postures are beautifully woven together to create strength, balance and flexibility with the opportunity to try inversions and arm balances. Cost is $10 monthly members / $15 all others

Clavicle, Scapula, Humerus Oh My! The shoulders are designed for mobility, not stability. While shoulder injuries can be very common among yoga practitioners, they are completely preventable with understanding and technique. Lauren will walk you through shoulder anatomy from a yoga perspective, demonstrate through 1:1 and group practice the proper form to prevent injury and ways to build shoulder strength properly. Unique considerations will also include some techniques to properly help take care of your shoulders when they are tight or sore. Developing technique, strength, and comfort in your upper body begins with a strong foundation through your shoulders to improve your yoga practice in floor series.

You will absolutely love Lauren’s personal and engaging style as she meets you where you are at with immense knowledge and experience in Yoga. The class will be structured for all levels of Yogi’s.

A Barre Community Class for a great cause and a great charity! A 1 hour class brought to you by Jess Silverman sure to get your blood pumping and feeling great.

All donations will be given to Tommy's, and organization in the UK that is the largest charity funding research into the causes of miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth. Tommy's also provides information for parents-to-be to help them have a healthy pregnancy and baby.
