Finding Presence, Led by John Odlum & Ray Mizia

  • Hartford Sweat 777 Main Street Hartford, CT, 06103 United States (map)

Find yourself again, find deep relaxation, and reset your intentions.

Feel less pulled by the past and more control into the future, as we invite you to re-ground in your senses with us. It is with a full sensory engagement that we can experience being fully present in the moment. A profound connection liberates deep relaxation to feel emotions and thoughts beyond our ego programming, and into that which is aligned to our true self.

Our experience in hundreds of hours with clients is that their bodies and their senses are always trying to tell the truth in “whispers.” The recognition and response requires being in tune and listening to the subtle promptings that we know to follow when we immerse ourselves in that moment.

Open to all, we take you through a holistic journey using modalities of yoga, meditation, aroma therapy (plant medicine), breath and focused energy work to help regain your connection with the present moment and find source.

Join us as we set the intention to Find Presence.

~ John Odlum & Ray Mizia

P.S. Bring a pen and paper as we find people frequently get downloads and clarity for their life in these sessions!

What are people saying?

During Finding Presence, I felt like I received a massage but my clothes stayed one, it was so relaxing.
— Workshop Client
I’ve had constant back pain for 20 years and during this event I felt zero pain. When can I do this again.
— Workshop Client
I’m a neurologist and during this event I had a truly profound experience. I was able to identify and see traumas I held around patients I see, honor them and release the energy held within them. Still trying to process what this experience was in the brain but almost don’t want to get clinical, it was beautiful and I should leave the experience as unexplainable and powerful. I will be back for more.
— Neurologist, West Hartford

“If you feel anxiety or depression, you are not in the present. You are either anxiously projecting the future or depressed and stuck in the past. The only thing you have any control over is the present moment; simple breathing exercises can make us calm and present instantly.” ― Tobe Hanson

(Optional) personal props and yoga accessories if you do not want to use those provided by the studio; All mats, blankets, bolsters will be available at no charge from the studio and are clean and disinfected that day.

Note that in the workshop, plant medicine adds another dimension into the sensory experience brining participants further to finding presence. John has been walking around and putting a few drops of the essential oils in peoples hands for them to self administer, it’s actually worked out very well. Let us know if you would like to opt-out of this portion.
